CAHIIM-Accredited HIM Programs (South Carolina Colleges)
In order to sit for the AHIMA RHIT and RHIA certification exams, you MUST first be enrolled in your final semester as a senior in good standing OR be a graduate of an associate (2-year) or bachelor's (4-year, BA or BS) degree program that is accredited through the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). There are NO exceptions made for these certification exam requirements through AHIMA. Experience and alternative degrees are not accepted.
